Role Description
Our Graduate Mechanical Engineer role requires the application of engineering and scientific principles to deliver and optimise safe, sustainable solutions for the design, construction, production, and operation of systems, devices, machines, structures, and processes through the full lifecycle from requirements, to design, manufacture, testing and commissioning.
An enthusiasm for engineering combined with the ability to analyse problems and develop effective solutions using a sound understanding of engineering principles within a chosen discipline. A practical background is preferred but a willingness to learn and develop is necessary.
The ability to communicate is essential with good verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-engineers and stakeholders.
It is a broad and diverse role involving working both individually and in internal multi-disciplinary teams as well as with the end user in different locations. The role requires the practicing of sustainability, integrity, ethics, diversity, and inclusion to deliver a successful solution.
The responsibilities will vary and may include functional and management tasks, which require an understanding of commercial implications and compliance with legal requirements.
