Role Description
Our Apprentice Engineer role requires the combined learning through study and practical application of engineering and scientific principles to deliver and optimise safe, sustainable solutions for the design, construction, production, and operation of systems, devices, machines, structures, and processes through the full lifecycle from requirements, to design, manufacture and commissioning.
An enthusiasm for engineering combined with the ability to analyse problems and develop effective solutions using a good understanding of engineering principles within a chosen discipline. The ability to communicate is essential with good verbal and written communication skills. The role involves working individually and as part of internal multi-disciplinary teams in different locations. The role requires the knowledge and skill development of sustainability, integrity, ethics, diversity, and inclusion.
Apprenticeship & Training
You will complete the Product Design and Development Engineer Degree Apprenticeship in partnership with Teesside University. Successful completion of the programme will lead to the award of a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, alongside valuable industry experience.
